Errands
A new service to our beneficiaries was implemented in the summer of 2020.
The Table des aînés Côte-de-Neiges and the SARPAD Volunteer Centre announce the creation of the Outreach Project in order to ensure easy and safe access to groceries and medication for Côte-des-Neiges elders.
The goal of the project, financed by Centraide of Greater Montreal, is to reach isolated elderlies, living alone facing a loss of autonomy or in confinement and enable them to get proper nourishment with a variety of fresh and healthy products.
Since July 2020, our Côte-des-Neiges elderly have benefited from our support for errands, groceries and drugstore needs. Those living at home, with reduced mobility and those in confinement need no longer worry about supplying themselves with foodstuffs and pharmaceutical products. All three organizations subscribe to the same logic of innovation and the constant search for the improvement of existence.
Agents are in the field prospecting for potential senior clients who would wish to benefit from this project. At this moment, links are being made between various social actors, medical personnel, supply points and our future beneficiaries.
